TestEvent – Returns & Refunds Policy

Overview

At TestEvent, we want you to be completely confident in the safety and reliability of our electrical testing plugs. If something isn’t right, we’re here to help. This policy explains how returns, refunds, and exchanges work when purchasing from www.testevent.co.uk.


1. Eligibility for Returns

You may return products within 30 days of receiving your order if:

  • The item is unused, unopened, and in its original packaging

  • The product is faulty, damaged, or not as described

  • You received the wrong item

Due to the nature of electrical testing equipment, we cannot accept returns of items that have been used unless they are faulty.


2. Faulty or Defective Products

If your testing plug develops a fault:

  • Contact us immediately with details of the issue

  • We may request photos or a brief description to help diagnose the fault

  • If confirmed faulty, we will offer either:

    • A replacement,

    • A repair (where applicable), or

    • A full refund

Faulty items will be replaced or refunded at no cost to you.


3. Change‑of‑Mind Returns

If you change your mind:

  • You may return unused items within 30 days

  • The product must be in resalable condition

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer

  • A refund will be issued once the item is inspected and approved

We cannot refund items that show signs of use, wear, or damage.


4. How to Start a Return

To begin a return, email:

Please include:

  • Your order number

  • The item(s) you wish to return

  • The reason for the return

  • Photos if the item is faulty or damaged

We will provide return instructions and a return authorisation reference.


5. Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected:

  • Approved refunds are issued within 5–7 working days

  • Refunds are processed to your original payment method

  • Delivery charges are refunded only for faulty or incorrect items


6. Exchanges

If you need a different item or replacement:

  • Exchanges are available for unused items

  • Faulty items can be exchanged free of charge

  • We will ship the replacement once the original item is received


7. Non‑Returnable Items

For safety and compliance reasons, we cannot accept returns of:

  • Used electrical testing plugs (unless faulty)

  • Items damaged due to misuse or incorrect installation

  • Custom‑built or special‑order products
